Focus AT is a not-for-profit assistive technology service that operates across Tasmania, with sites in Hobart and Launceston. Our team comprises of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists and Seating Technicians, who work with a range of community partners to provide a client-centered and evidence-based approach to assistive technology.

Assistive Technology is any device, system or aide that is used to perform tasks that might otherwise be difficult, unsafe, or not possible. At Focus AT, we are passionate about empowering individuals to make informed decisions about the AT that is right for them. Our goal is to help you increase your independence, develop new skills and interests, enhance your wellbeing, and engage in meaningful participation in your life activities through access to the right AT.

We offer a range of services including equipment assessments, repairs and maintenance, individual and group training opportunities, as well as specialised programs such as Joy Riders and AAC. Our AT solutions include electronic access methods such as computer access and environmental control systems, powered mobility devices, manual wheelchairs, communication devices, and more. With our team of experts and strong community partnerships, we are committed to finding the right AT solution for you.
